Arizona

Women are often raped by someone they know, and are too traumatized to talk about it at first. By training officers to be more empathic and by ending the backlog of rape kits, survivors are more likely to come forward and receive the justice they deserve. ✓ Pledges to pursue solutions to end gun violence. Calls for common-sense legislation consists of universal background checks, banning military-grade weapons and accessories that enhance weapons, banning those on terror watchlists from access to firearms, and closing the gun show loophole and the boyfriend loophole Supports new regulations to ensure that firearms are stored safely where they will be out of reach of our children. Furthermore, we need to decrease the ratio of students to counselors in schools so teachers and support staff have the resources to keep a watchful eye on, and help, students who need it. Calls for technologies such as 3D printing to be regulated to ensure that firearms do not end up in the wrong hands ✓ Pledges to pursue solutions to ensure access to and protection of reproductive justice.
